P.U.C is also known as
plus Two, this is a bridge course after years of schooling, conducted by
the college according to the norms and regulation of Karnataka State
Pre-University Board. This course is the beginning of specialization
requiring the students to choose one among the three academic streams
available to them to pursue their university education. Each combination
offers four core subjects within their area of their choice apart from
language studies.
Arts: Those
who opt arts will not be able to go back to the science stream in the
degree courses. Students are advised to be judicious in their choice
considering - these Options and opportunities awaiting them. The college
has the following area of choice.

Eligibility for
Admission: To apply for the Pre-University courses, the candidate
shall pass the Karnataka S.S.L.C. Examination or any other equivalent
examination recognized by the PU Board and he/she should satisfy all other
conditions for eligibility set by the PU Board. A candidate may ordinarily
choose under Part I Languages, the same languages offered at the S.S.L.C.
or corresponding examination.
Eligibility for II
PUC Examination: To be promoted to the second year PUC, a student
should pass the 1 PUC class examination and final examination as per the
norms of the PU Board. To be eligible to the II PU Examination all
candidates should have: a) Passed 1st year P.U Examination, b)
Undergone the prescribed courses of study in the corresponding year,
c) Secured minimum attendance prescribed under the regulations, d)
Shown satisfactory progress and conduct as certified by the Head of the
Institution.
