Computer Lab:

M.S.Ramaiah Junior and
Degree College provide its students with arguably the best and certainly
the most modern lab among Bangalore's premier educational institutions.
The well-equipped computer lab with state - of - art technology has a
network facility connecting the latest Intel microprocessor based
computers. The lab has 5 color monitor, 8 Pentium, 12 - 486 nodes, 1
Pentium Server, 1 Unix Server, 25 User Ethernet, Novel NetWare, dot matrix
printers and other peripherals are connected to the network. The institute
is envisaging to upgrade the system in the current year.
Internet Facility:
-
M.S.Ramaiah Junior and Degree College is envisaging to boast of
a 64 KBPS Internet Leased line connecting its students to the world and
beyond. Students will be allowed to surf the net free of cost. Moreover,
nodes will be provided in the library for the students to send and receive
E-mail.
Library: -
M.S.Ramaiah Junior and Degree College library offers students an
excellent of books and magazines on Management Computer Science, Pure
Science and Commerce. The back issues of the leading journals, Indian as
well as International are also available. The general library works
between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The library information will be computerized
which facilities the use of the library with regard to availability of
books and articles. The library will be providing photocopying facilities,
Audio & Videotapes to the faculty and students in the current year.
Sports and Games: -
The sports and
games facilities at the Campus make the students attain physical growth
and sportsman - spirit. The college has separate courts for major games
like Cricket, Basketball, Football, Hockey and Athletics. Intra - college
and Inter - College matches give the students ample opportunity to develop
their talents and skill. Indoor games: - Caroms, Chess, Table Tennis,
Throw Ball, Athletics etc…
Auditorium: -
College has a spacious auditorium in the campus to conduct various
activities like Seminars, Lectures conferences and Cultural Programs.
Hostel: -
The college offers, most modern & well-furnished hostels for
boys and girls separately. The hostels are in the college campus. There is
a good mess, which provides nutritious food to the hostilities.
Parking: -
Adequate shelter for the parking car, two wheelers & bicycles is
provided. Students are advised to park their vehicles only in the place
provided for them. Students are not allowed to bring their vehicles inside
the main compound. However, the College does not take the responsibility
for the security of the vehicles.
Railway / Air
Concession: -
The Railway / Air Concession forms will be issued to
the regular students of the college to go to their hometown or to visit
their parents, only during the major holidays. |
