M.S.Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce was started by Late Sri. M S Ramaiah, noted entrepreneur, industerialist, plilanthropist and visionary under the Gokula Education Foundation in 1962, with the laudable and worthy objective of establishing institutions of academic excellence for students from all over the world. This pioneering move was undertaken by him on the realization that very often, brilliant, motivated and committed students were unable to pursue further studies in their individual field of interest because of their inability to obtain admission in the limited Government run colleges.
